Julia Lloyd, M.A.
Creative Director
Julia Lloyd is a seasoned counseling professional with a diverse background in behavior therapy, culinary arts, and content creation. Julia is intensively trained in DBT and EMDR therapy and holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Julia addresses a range of challenges, including anxiety, trauma, victim advocacy, and family dynamics, with expertise and compassion.
Julia’s journey into counseling was shaped by a personal mental health crisis in her younger years, which highlighted the need for more effective emotional support within church communities. This insight drove her to bridge the gap between faith and mental health care, particularly through her roles as a worship leader and church administrator during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her hands-on experience during these challenging times has deepened her ability to support churches in crisis.
Julia desires to continue collaborating with churches, pastors, and organizations to develop biblically grounded lay counseling ministries, creating training programs that empower laypeople to provide compassionate and informed care. Her commitment to nurturing both emotional and spiritual well-being within communities reflects her dedication to equipping churches with the tools to offer holistic support.
Outside of her professional work, Julia is a devoted wife and mother to a precious boy. She finds joy in perfecting sourdough loaves, playing music, and walking her dog, Oliver. Julia’s passion for continuous growth and education fuels her drive to make a meaningful impact in both her personal and professional life.
